Bengal Politics: TMC MLA Humayun Kabir has given a controversial statement. In the video released by BJP, Kabir is announcing the construction of Babri Masjid and giving threats like Rs 500 instead of Rs 100. This not only challenges law and order but also fuels identity-based polarization. This statement shows how vote bank politics is changing into the language of religious incitement and population percentage, which is a serious warning for democracy.
New Delhi. Trinamool Congress (TMC) MLA Humayun Kabir has created a big political controversy by announcing the construction of Babri Masjid in West Bengal and making inflammatory statements. According to the viral video released by BJP, Kabir has clearly warned that anyone who tries to stop him will have to face serious consequences. Citing population figures, he said, “Now Muslims are 37%… By the time Babri Masjid is completely with us, we will be 40%. Whoever tries to stop us, remember we will be martyred, but if 100 of us go, we will take 500 with us.”
MLA Humayun Kabir, while specifically mentioning Murshidabad, said that Muslims are 70% here. Also warned that whoever is against us will have to face serious consequences. While releasing this video, Bengal BJP has made serious allegations against the TMC MLA. Immediately reacting to this statement, BJP leader Rahul Sinha claimed that there is no local Muslim with Kabir and he has refused to give land for Babri Masjid. Sinha taunted Kabir and said that Babar’s blood was running in his veins and arteries, hence he would take Babar’s name.
