Is black color auspicious or inauspicious in Vastu? Know where to use and where to avoid

Many people like to choose black color while decorating their house, but in Vastu, it is advised to use it thoughtfully. It is said that this color affects the atmosphere of the house, hence its use is not considered appropriate everywhere.

According to Mahant Swami Kameshwarananda Vedantacharya, black color seems a little heavy. Due to its presence in the house, the atmosphere becomes serious and at times positivity is felt less. Even in Vastu Shastra, black color is not considered auspicious.

In traditions, black color is not included in auspicious works. People believe that this color slows down the energy and does not allow the atmosphere to remain light. This is why consideration is given before using black color in any religious function.

Many astrologers say that black color intensifies the effect of some planets. For this reason, one should definitely think once before applying it on the walls of the house. Black color is considered a symbol of negative energy.
