As soon as we hear the name park date, open air, greenery, peace and lovely moments spent together start coming to our mind. But in today’s era, it is not enough to think only about romance, safety has also become equally important. Especially when such cases have come to light in recent times, where couples sitting in the park were blackmailed by secretly making photos or videos.
Recently, the police in Noida has caught one such gang, which used to take pictures of loving couples in different parks. Later, by showing the same photos, money was demanded from the couples and they were threatened that if the money was not given, the photos would be made viral on social media. This gang included people aged between 20 to 35 years. Fortunately, a couple showed courage and lodged a complaint at the police station and these miscreants were caught.
In such a situation, if you also have a park date fixed with your girlfriend, then knowing some important safety tips can be very useful.
1. Choose the location wisely
Always choose a park where there is good crowd, CCTV cameras are installed and security guards are present. Sitting in a very isolated corner or near bushes can invite trouble.
2. Keep an eye on your surroundings
If someone is seen repeatedly turning the mobile camera towards you or keeps staring at you strangely, then get alerted immediately. If necessary, change your place.

3. Avoid excessive public display
Romance has its place, but it is better to remain within limits in public places. This not only protects you from unwanted eyes, but also prevents anyone from targeting you wrongly.
4. Keep phone and bag safe
Do not be careless by keeping your mobile, purse or bag here and there. Many times miscreants first understand the situation and then act.
5. Don’t be afraid if someone makes a video
Most importantly, if someone is taking your photo or video, do not remain silent. Raise your voice immediately, refuse clearly and draw people’s attention. Such people are afraid of the crowd.
If someone threatens or tries to blackmail, call 100 or 112 without delay. Police takes such cases seriously, as was seen in the Noida case.
7. Have confidence
Showing fear increases the courage of miscreants. Confidence and alertness are your biggest strengths.
Enjoy a park date with your girlfriend, but not with your eyes closed. A little wisdom and caution can save you from big trouble. Remember, romance is beautiful only when you are safe and tension-free.
