Patna: Senior BJP MLA Dr. Prem Kumar was elected unopposed and unanimously as the next Speaker of Bihar Assembly. As soon as the formal announcement of the elections was made, slogans of “Har Har Mahadev” and “Jai Shri Ram” echoed in the House. Prem Kumar has reached the Assembly for the 9th time after being elected the representative of the voters of Gaya Town, i.e. Gayaji urban area. His name became famous with the huge victory of 202 seats. It was waiting for Nitish Kumar to take oath as the Chief Minister and the rest of the members of the Council of Ministers also to take oath. Then this happened and it was decided that there was no alternative to Dr. Prem Kumar from anyone’s side for this chair.
