Method:
The method of making desi style chowmin is easy and fun, which will give restaurant like taste even at home. First of all, boil the noodles as per the packet, wash them with cold water and apply light oil so that they do not stick.
Now heat oil in a pan and add crushed garlic to it and fry lightly. After this, add finely chopped onion, carrot, capsicum and cabbage and fry for 2-3 minutes on high flame so that the vegetables remain crispy.
Then add finely chopped green chillies, soya sauce, tomato sauce, red chilli powder, salt and black pepper. Now add boiled noodles, mix well and cook on high flame for 1-2 minutes so that all the flavors dissolve in the noodles. Before turning off the gas, add green coriander on top and serve hot.
If you want, you can also add chicken, paneer or tofu in it. Be careful not to overcook the noodles, otherwise the texture will get spoiled. Squeeze some lemon juice on top, the flavor will increase further.
In this desi chowmin, one can enjoy both the freshness of the vegetables and the flavor of the sauce. It is also light and crispy, hence making it for dinner or lunch is a very good option. Everyone from children to adults will like it.
In this way you can prepare delicious chow mein at home in minutes. Serve it hot and add your favorite vegetables, eggs and meat to make your recipe even more special. Make desi style chowmin at home and get the restaurant-like taste, that too without going out.
