Nashik Accident: Six people including Kirti Patel, Rasila Patel died after their Toyota Innova fell into a 600 feet ditch at Saptashringa Garh Ghat in Nashik. The incident occurred at 4 pm and the deceased was a resident of Pimpalgaon Baswant in Niphad taluka.
Nashik. Six people died after a car fell into a 600 feet deep gorge at Saptashringa Garh Ghat in Kalwan taluka of Nashik on Sunday. A police officer gave this information. The officer said that the incident took place at 4 pm and the deceased was a resident of Pimpalgaon Baswant in Niphad taluka.
The officer said, ‘He died on the spot. There were seven passengers in the Toyota Innova vehicle. The deceased have been identified as Kirti Patel (50), Rasila Patel (50), Vitthal Patel (65), Lata Patel (60), Vachan Patel (60) and Maniben Patel (70). Superintendent of Police Balasaheb Patil is monitoring the rescue operation.
Local Deputy Collector and CEO of District Disaster Authority, Rohit Kumar Rajput said that the operation is continuing with the deployment of police and District Disaster Management Committee personnel.
