New Delhi. Hindustan Unilever has also given a shock to the consumers by increasing the prices of soaps and detergents amid the ever-increasing inflation. HUL says that due to the ever-increasing cost of raw material, it has become necessary to pass some of its burden on the customers. Therefore it was decided to increase the prices of the products. Due to the increase in input cost, the company had to increase the prices of several rounds in the same way last year.
