Karnataka Chief Minister BS Yeddyurappa said that there will be more than 100 toy manufacturing units in this cluster. This will provide more than 25,000 direct and around one lakh indirect employment. He said that the toy manufacturing industry is labor-oriented and most of the workers in it are women. So this toy cluster, which started in Koppal, is a big step towards empowering women. She said that women who are earning Rs 200 per day will be able to earn Rs 600 per day. There has been a large participation of women in the toy manufacturing industry.
