The married daughter got greedy after seeing the jewelery kept in her mother’s house and then she stole the jewelery and then hid it in Punjab. However, the police have solved the matter.

Actually, the police has solved the incident of theft of jewelery worth Rs 17 lakh from a house in the village under Hamirpur police station Sadar. Sumana Devi, a woman from village Ropa, had complained to the police that on the night of 27-28 November, gold and silver jewelery and cash were stolen from her house in village Ropa.
As soon as the complaint was received, SHO Inspector Kulwant Singh and Sadar police team under the guidance of ASP Rajesh Sharma immediately swung into action. The team inspected the spot closely, recorded statements of nearby people and family members and gathered information about suspicious activities.
Along with this, the police laid more emphasis on technical investigation and thoroughly analyzed mobile call details and other digital evidence. As the investigation progressed, many such indications were found which deepened the suspicion on the victim’s daughter Komal. On the basis of technical and circumstantial evidence, Komal was called to the police station for questioning. During the interrogation, Komal could not stand the facts presented and the continuous questions and ultimately she confessed to committing the theft. The police arrested him.
Daughter disclosed everything during remand
SP Balbir Singh said that this entire success has been possible due to the hard work, understanding, technical investigation and quick action of the team. He said that during interrogation during remand, Komal revealed that the stolen gold and silver jewelery was hidden in Barnala, Punjab. He said that the woman told during interrogation that she had committed the theft due to greed in her mind. The police team reached Barnala on the behest of Komal and recovered jewelery worth about Rs 17 lakh.
