Chhapra. On Saturday morning, home guard Jawan Chandra Bhushan Singh was stabbed to death by child prisoners at the remand home in Chhapra. The incident took place when Chandra Bhushan Singh went inside the ward in the morning to take stock of the condition of the prisoners. It is being told that only then all the prisoners caught him and first thrashed him fiercely and then stabbed him to death. Two other Home Guard jawans were also present at the time of the incident; Who somehow took Chandra Bhushan Singh out and took him to the hospital for treatment. But, there the doctors declared him dead.
Mantu Kumar, the brother of the deceased, told that he received information about the injuries of Chandra Bhushan Singh by the policemen. When he came after this, he came to know that he had died. Mantu Singh, the brother of the deceased, also accused the policemen of negligence in this matter. As soon as the information about the incident was received, Bhagwan Bazar Police Station President Ranjan Kumar also reached the spot and started investigation in the matter. But, he refused to say anything to the media.
Meanwhile, SP Gaurav Mangla also reached the remand home and started investigating the matter. The CCTV camera in the remand home is also being scrutinized, in which some important evidence is expected to be found. The reason behind the murder could not be ascertained. The biggest question is where did the knife come from in the remand home as it is prohibited to bring any kind of weapon.
