As soon as the information about the incident was received, Bhagwan Bazar Police Station President Ranjan Kumar also reached the spot and started investigation in the matter. But, he refused to say anything to the media.

Meanwhile, SP Gaurav Mangla also reached the remand home and started investigating the matter. The CCTV camera in the remand home is also being scrutinized, in which some important evidence is expected to be found. The reason behind the murder could not be ascertained. The biggest question is where did the knife come from in the remand home as it is prohibited to bring any kind of weapon.
