Water identification by home methods
- According to Adarsh Chaturvedi, pure milk lasts only for a maximum of 12 hours in the cold season and about 6 hours in the summer season. After this it starts bursting on its own. At the same time, milk which is adulterated with water does not spoil for more than 24 hours, because the natural structure of milk gets weakened due to mixing of water.
- If a few drops of milk are dropped on the ground and they do not soak into the ground immediately, then the milk is considered pure. Whereas milk mixed with water gets absorbed quickly into the ground. Similarly, if milk sticks to a foil or vessel after buying it from a dairy, then the milk is pure.
- Milk can also be tested on the basis of taste. If milk seems thin to drink or there is less natural sweetness in it, then it should be understood that water has been mixed in it. Pure milk has mild natural sweetness, whereas adulterated milk does not have this sweetness.
- Regarding identification of fake or adulterated milk, Adarsh Chaturvedi says that the color of real milk is clear white. There is a slight change in the color of fake milk and it may even taste bitter after drinking it. Apart from this, adulterated milk spoils quickly even after heating, which is considered its biggest identity.
