Panta Bhat Recipe: If you have stomach problems or constipation, there is no need to buy probiotic from the market. Prepare and eat Pantabhat, it is light on the stomach, it contains Vitamin B-12 and it improves digestion without medicine. However, in winter, consume it in sunlight and sprinkle asafoetida on top.
Pantabhat is a traditional dish of Eastern India, which is eaten especially in summer to cool the body. This is a very simple but nutritious food made from rice, curd and water, which is still included in daily breakfast in rural areas. However, nowadays it is cold season, so enjoy it by sitting in the sun after the sun comes out. It is such a good probiotic and provides so many benefits to the stomach that the need for medicine is eliminated. If you do not eat curd in winter then stay away from this dish. However, it does not catch cold after being sprayed.
To make Pantabhat, cook normal rice a little thin and let it cool. When the rice cools down, put it in a bowl and add enough water to completely submerge the rice. Add a few spoons of curd in it. If you want, you can also add a little salt. After this, leave this mixture covered for the whole night or for about 8–10 hours, so that light natural fermentation can take place in it.
This Pantabhat is completely ready in the morning. It may take a little more time to ferment in winter. Take it out in a bowl and add chopped onion, green chillies, lemon juice and a few drops of mustard oil and mix. If you wish, you can also serve pickles, chutney, roasted vegetables or roasted cumin seeds with it. Its taste is slightly sour, cooling and very refreshing. If you add asafoetida, mustard seeds, curry leaves and chillies in oil in the morning and fry it, the taste will increase further. It is also eaten by adding potato chokha to it.

The biggest advantage of eating Pantabhat is that due to fermentation, natural probiotics are formed in it, which strengthens digestion and removes the problem of constipation. Be it summer or winter, it keeps your stomach light and balances the digestive system. It is very easy to digest.
Along with this, Pantabhata is a good source of energy and maintains electrolyte balance in the body. Fermentation also produces Vitamin B12, which is beneficial for both body and mind. Consuming it early in the morning gives freshness, coolness and strength to the body throughout the day. During cold days, sprinkle it on top and eat it only after keeping it in the sun for some time.
