Aloo Tikki: The identity of Pichor tehsil of Shivpuri district is no longer limited to just the town. There is a street here, which people lovingly call Chatori Gali. As soon as one moves towards the old tehsil from the bus stand, the steps start falling. The aroma of Aloo Tikki, Panipuri and bitter gourd automatically attracts people towards itself. This is the place where taste and hard work come together to create a success story that teaches everyone to believe not in less hard work, but in honest hard work.
Agra Chaat Bhandar has a unique identity in Chatori Gali. This is not a big shop, but a simple hand cart. By standing at this cart, Anup has earned such trust and taste in the last twenty years which is no less than any big hotel. Anoop says that he never paid attention to appearance, but considered taste and cleanliness as his real assets. This is the reason why today even big people stop at their stall and taste the chaat with great enthusiasm.
Aloo Tikki is amazing here
Anoop’s Aloo Tikki has a different identity from other places. He clarifies that his tikkis are made only from potatoes and selected spices and ingredients. Before making tikkis, potatoes are boiled thoroughly. Then the spices are balanced and the tikkis are fried in clean, premium oil until they turn golden. After this, chickpeas, green chutney, sweet and sour chutney, fresh curd, finely chopped onion and good salt are put on the tikki. The combination of simplicity and taste is clearly felt in every bite.
New way to make Pani Puri
The Panipuri here is prepared entirely from semolina, which is light and crispy to eat. The spicy-sour water and potato filling served with it leaves a different taste on people’s tongues. Along with Aloo Tikki, Panipuri and bitter gourd also remain a special favorite of the people who come here.

One day earning 5 thousand
Anup says that the taste is the same today as it was twenty years ago. I never compromised on quality. Perhaps this is the reason why his cart is equally popular even today. The result of hard work, honesty and consistently maintaining the same taste is that Anoop’s daily earnings exceed Rs 5000.
