New Delhi. Kawasaki India is offering a discount of Rs 2.5 lakh on the on-road price of 2026 Ninja ZX-10R, which is valid till December 31, 2025. With this offer the effective on-road price of the bike becomes Rs 21.10 lakh. This discount is available across all Kawasaki dealerships across the country and includes the full on-road price including ex-showroom price, road tax, insurance and registration. After the recent GST related changes, the ex-showroom price of ZX-10R has now become Rs 20.79 lakh, which was Rs 19.49 lakh at the time of launch earlier this year. Despite the increase in price, the current discount makes it a better value in the litre-class superbike segment.
The most affordable litre-class superbike
After a discount of Rs 2.5 lakh, the ZX-10R becomes the most affordable litre-class superbike sold in India. Its closest competitor is the BMW S1000RR, whose on-road price is around Rs 23.60 lakh. That means after the discount, ZX-10R has become cheaper by about Rs 2.5 lakh.
Ducati and Aprilia
Other rivals are even more expensive. The price of Ducati Panigale V4 starts at around Rs 28 lakh, while the price of Aprilia RSV4 starts at around Rs 27 lakh. In a segment where the on-road price of most bikes is above Rs 25 lakh, the ZX-10R’s price tag of Rs 21.10 lakh is special for those buyers who have made up their mind to buy a litre-class bike.
Engines, Electronics and Hardware
Technically, no changes have been made to the ZX-10R. It has a 998 cc inline four cylinder engine, which generates 193.1 horsepower and 112 Newton meter torque. This output is slightly less than the BMW S1000RR’s 210 horsepower, but competitive against the Panigale V4 and RSV4. Its engine is known for its smooth and linear power delivery, making it popular for track days and high-speed riding.
Multiple riding modes
The electronics package is also quite advanced. The bike has features like multiple riding modes, dual-channel ABS, traction control, launch control, engine brake control and cruise control. All these features can be adjusted through the color TFT display, which provides information about speed, RPM, gear position and riding mode.
The chassis hardware includes Showa BFF forks at the front and Showa BFRC monoshock at the rear, both fully adjustable for preload, compression and rebound. For braking, dual discs have been provided at the front and single disc at the rear, which is supported by Kawasaki’s intelligent ABS system.
styling
Talking about styling, it is inspired by Kawasaki’s WorldSBK race machines, which get sharp bodywork and aerodynamic fairing design. The riding position is quite aggressive and forward leaning, suitable for track or fast riding, but not for daily commute or comfortable touring. This offer is valid only till 31 December 2025, meaning interested riders have limited time to decide. For those looking to buy a litre-class superbike, with a savings of Rs 2.5 lakh and an on-road price of Rs 21.10 lakh, the Ninja ZX-10R is one of the best deals in the segment.
