In the complaint given to Hamirpur Police, Inspector Suresh Kumar told that he is posted in Hamirpur and on December 18, he was deployed for checking buses near Dosadka. During this time a bus from Bilaspur depot arrived and it was going from Bilaspur to Dharamshala route. When he boarded the bus at 08:51 in the morning to check the ticket, Karan Kumar was the conductor of the bus. Investigation found that there were a total of 60 passengers in the bus. However, the woman did not have a ticket to go to Hamirpur from Patta, even though she had paid a fare of Rs 62. When he inquired about the ticket from the conductor and asked for the way-bill, the accused clearly refused.
Suresh Kumar alleged that during this time the conductor manhandled him and then slapped him. During this time the bus reached Hamirpur bus stand. However, the operator still did not give the way-bill. He said that a report of the incident was recorded in the log book of the bus.
He told that when the said bus reached near Milkhi Ram Petrol Pump in Hamirpur, the conductor stopped the bus and then ran away leaving the bus with the ticket box and the machine. He said that during this the conductor slapped him and his gold chain also went missing. At present, the police have registered a case under section 121(1), 132 BNS.
The accused conductor also filed a complaint against the inspector
On the other hand, accused conductor Karan Kumar has also lodged a complaint and wrote that Sub Inspector Suresh Kumar came to inspect and there were 70 passengers in the bus. He had issued ticket cards for all the passengers. The papers that the inspector had asked for were given to him on the spot. He said that the distance from Dosadka to Hamirpur is one and a half km and the inspector did not inspect the tickets of the passengers sitting in the bus. Meanwhile, Sub Inspector Suresh Kumar said that a female passenger was not given a ticket from Patta to Hamirpur. However, information about who the woman was was not given. Then later the lady passenger was found to have given the ticket at the bus stand. However, later a false report was written in the log book. On this I just said that why did you write a false report in the log book. If you want to submit checking report then write on my way-will. Also said that I will get you fired from the job.
