Prime Minister Narendra Modi was in Hyderabad on Wednesday. A funny incident happened there which made everyone laugh. Ross McInnes, chairman of French defense company Safran, told such a joke that even PM Modi could not stop laughing. McInnes said, ‘Safran will fully support India’s Make in India strategy. I feel connected to it because I was born in India. That’s why I am also made in India. India will become a global MRO hub. On this occasion, PM Modi inaugurated the Safran Aircraft Engine Services India (SAESI) facility. This center is built in GMR Aerospace Park. Modi said that this will help in making India a global MRO hub. The engines of the world’s famous Airbus A320neo and Boeing 737 MAX aircraft will be repaired here. This is the first time that a global engine manufacturer is starting its MRO operations in India.
