Chitrakoot News: A huge Amrit Mahotsav is being organized in the religious city Chitrakoot, which includes Shri Ram Naam Sankirtan, Shatchandi Mahayagya and Shrimad Bhagwat Katha. A grand procession will take out on 19 January. The arrival of saints and sages from across the country has started. The event will last for about one and a half months.
The religious city of Chitrakoot is once again going to witness a great confluence of spiritual consciousness and eternal traditions. Where thousands of devotees come every day to this sacred land known as the abode of Lord Shri Ram for darshan and worship, now such an event is going to take place here, which is being considered historic not only from the religious point of view but also from the social and cultural point of view. The huge Amrit Mahotsav is going to be inaugurated in Chitrakoot, in which Sankirtan and chanting of Shri Ram’s name has been done along with Mahayagya, in which the arrival of sages and saints from various Akharas across the country has started.
Huge procession on 19th January
Giving information about the same event, Mahant Amritdas Khaki of All India Panch Ramanandiya Khaki Akhara Rambagh Tarunha said that this Amrit Mahotsav will last for about one and a half months. Under this, a grand event of Shri Shatchandi Mahayagya and Shrimad Bhagwat Katha is being organized. The program has started with Ram Naam Sankirtan, while the series of religious rituals will continue in the coming days. He told that a grand procession will be taken out on January 19, in which sages and saints from all the seven Akharas of Ayodhya will participate with their respective symbols. This procession will be taken out amidst music and chanting of Vedic mantras.

In further information, he said that Shrimad Bhagwat Katha will start from January 20, in which well-known storytellers of the country will shower the nectar of Katha Rasa. On January 27, the completion of the Mahayagya will be completed and on January 28, a huge Bhandara will be organized, in which thousands of devotees are likely to receive the Prasad. Mahant Amritdas Khaki told that this event is being organized in the holy memory of Saketwas Most Revered Gurudev Bhagwan, to which the emotional faith of the devotees is also attached.
He also told that this is the first time since 1630, when such a big meeting of Khaki Akhara is being organized in Chitrakoot Taronha. This earth contains the virtue of thousands of years of penance of our ancestors and carrying forward the same tradition, this Amrit Mahotsav is being organised. Saints believe that such events infuse positive energy, values and harmony in the society.
