The person who used to dream of buying a car by upgrading from a two wheeler and used to take such vehicles, is now seen to be under the burden of inflation and his buying capacity is over. Companies are also accepting this thing and their entire focus has remained only on the upper middle class. A simple example of this can be seen only by looking at Maruti’s cell. If compared to the sale of December 2021 in 2022, a decline of 40 percent has been recorded in it.

Demand for sedans and SUVs
These days the SUV segment is the most in demand in the Indian market. After this people are liking sedan more. The reason for this is the comfort and more seating capacity. Keeping this in view, the focus of the car companies is also on these two segments. After this, the full focus of the companies is on the hatchback because the hatchback is the first choice of city ride and youth.

Now let’s talk about manufacturing, its cost is continuously increasing. Rules like air bags and pollution norms add to the cost of the car.
