To know the answer to this question, a woman living in Dubai conducted an experiment which created a stir on social media.
Actually, a woman named Alisha Hamirani has shared this incident on her Instagram @bikergirldubai. The video showed that the woman left her very expensive Hermes Birkin bag, which is worth around 1 lakh dirhams (about Rs 22–23 lakhs), in a crowded place in the Gold Souk area of Dubai. After this she went for a walk in Abra (water taxi) towards Bur Dubai. The woman’s aim was clear to test the security system of Dubai herself.
