Share Market Holidays 2026: The last month of the year 2025 is going on. After this the year 2026 will begin. Apart from the holidays of Saturday and Sunday, the stock market is going to remain closed for a total of 15 days in the year 2026.
There is no normal trading in the domestic stock market on these holidays. NSE has made an announcement regarding holidays. Under which there will be no normal business on these days except Saturday and Sunday. Let us know on which days the stock markets will remain closed…
NSE holidays list
According to the calendar released by NSE, the stock markets are going to remain closed on several occasions between January and March in the beginning of the year. There will be no trading in the stock market due to Republic Day on 26 January, Holi on 3 March, Shri Ram Navami on 26 March and Shri Mahavir Jayanti on 31 March. After this, the stock market will remain closed on April 3 for Good Friday.
After this, the market will remain closed due to Dr. Baba Saheb Ambedkar Jayanti on 14th April, Maharashtra Day on 1st May and Bakrid on 28th May. Apart from this, there will be no trading in the stock market on 26th June on the occasion of Muharram.
The market will remain closed on Ganesh Chaturthi on 14 September, Mahatma Gandhi Jayanti on 2 October, Dussehra on 20 October and Diwali Balipratipada on 10 November. After this, there will be no trading in NSE on Prakash Parv Shri Guru Nanak Dev on 24th November and on Christmas Day on 25th December. Apart from these holidays, there is no normal trading in the stock market on Saturday and Sunday every week.
Muhurat trading will happen on this day on Diwali
NSE has informed in its statement that Muhurat trading on the occasion of Diwali will be organized on Sunday, 8 November 2026. However, the timing of the trading session has not been announced yet. Information about this will be given later.
