Greater Noida: A massive fire suddenly broke out on Monday in a factory located on Bisahada Road under Jarcha police station area of Greater Noida. As soon as the fire broke out, there was chaos in the factory premises and an atmosphere of panic was created in the surrounding areas. Within no time the fire took a huge form and within a short time it engulfed the entire factory. The work of making coolers was done in the factory, where a large quantity of raw materials and finished products were kept.
According to eyewitnesses, high flames rising from the factory and a thick cloud of smoke were visible from a distance. Seeing the magnitude of the fire, nearby people came out of their houses and shops. Many people tried to extinguish the fire, but the fire continued to spread rapidly. Goods worth lakhs of rupees kept in the factory were completely burnt to ashes, due to which the factory owner had to suffer huge financial loss.

As soon as information about the incident was received, Jarcha police station reached the spot and immediately informed the fire department. Two vehicles of the fire department immediately reached the spot and the work of extinguishing the fire was started. Due to the high intensity of the fire, the firefighters had to work hard. After about an hour of hard work the fire was completely brought under control. Fire officer Pradeep Kumar said that as soon as information about fire in a cooler manufacturing factory was received, two fire engines were sent to the spot. Due to the promptness of firefighters, the fire was controlled in time. He said that there was no loss of life in this incident, which is a matter of relief.
