DGP-IGP Conference Last Day: Today i.e. 30th November 2025 is the last day of the country’s biggest conference of police officers – DGP-IG Conference. This conference is being held in Raipur, Chhattisgarh. Prime Minister Narendra Modi himself is present in this conference for three days and Union Home Minister Amit Shah is also present continuously. The last day of the conference started this morning and the first session has started. The topic of this first session is very important – “Use of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in Policing”. DGPs, IGs and senior officials of the intelligence department of all the states and union territories of the country are discussing how AI can help in crime prevention, investigation, traffic management and safety of common people. Many officials are telling about the AI based projects going on in their respective states.
In the second session, there will be a serious discussion on the geo-political challenges facing the country. Special focus will be on cross-border infiltration, drone smuggling, cyber attacks and interference by foreign forces. In this session, it will be decided what new strategy the police and intelligence agencies will jointly formulate to deal with these threats in the future.
The most important thing is that today senior officials of Intelligence Bureau (IB), RAW and other intelligence agencies are giving presentations directly in front of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Home Minister Amit Shah. In these presentations, detailed information is being given on sensitive issues related to the internal and external security of the country. A complete report is being presented on foreign interference, funding to terrorism, propaganda being spread on social media and new challenges on the border. Both the Prime Minister and the Home Minister are listening to all the presentations very carefully and are also asking questions at necessary places.
The policies and strategies that will be made after this conference will decide the direction of the country’s internal security for the next many years. In short, today is the most important day of the entire conference, because not only is there talk of incorporating new technology (AI) in policing, but strategies are being made directly in front of the Prime Minister on the most confidential and serious issues related to the country’s security. Many major decisions are likely to be taken after the conference ends in the evening.
