About this, Kenichi Ayukawa, managing director and CEO of Maruti Suzuki India, said that the Jimny is being manufactured at the Gurugram plant of Maruti Suzuki and with this the company’s overall exports are expected to increase.

Maruti Suzuki Jimny Engine- The Jimny is powered by a 1.5-liter K15B naturally aspirated petrol engine, which gives 105hp power and 138Nm torque. Apart from the Vitara Brezza, the company is also offering this engine in the Ertiga, Ciaz and S-Cross. Due to the ladder frame, the position of the engine in it will have changed, which will give power to its rear wheels. At the same time, the gymnas launched in India can be offered with the standard 4×4 system like the Thar. In addition to the 5-speed manual transmission in the Gymni, there is also the option of 4-speed torque converter automatic.
