Hospice. In Himachal Pradesh, the dispute between Sukhu government minister Jagat Singh Negi and former CM Jairam Thakur is not showing any signs of stopping. On Wednesday too, during the winter session of the Assembly, there was a heated debate between the two leaders and then the BJP staged a walkout. Former CM Jairam Thakur even called Jagat Singh Negi nonsense. However, later the Speaker removed this word from the proceedings of the House.
Actually, during the session on Wednesday, the disaster was being discussed under Rule 130. Revenue Minister Jagat Singh Negi responded to the discussion. When Jagat Singh Negi started replying to the discussion, he lashed out at the opposition. On this, BJP created ruckus in the House. The Leader of Opposition, losing his temper, called the minister nonsense. However, Speaker Kuldeep Singh Pathania said that this is not a part of the record. Meanwhile, a fierce argument was seen between Jagat Negi and Jai Ram Thakur. Opposition MLAs walked out of the House raising slogans.
On this entire matter, CM Sukhu said in the House that the attitude of the opposition is not right. Saying such a thing against a minister is against decorum and the Speaker should take action on this.
Meanwhile, while narrating his pain, Minister Jagat Singh Negi said that the Speaker does not allow me to express my views and only the Leader of the Opposition is heard, due to which the issue is one-sided among the public. I was called rude, what rudeness did I do? Negi said that Jai Ram Thakur is only concerned about himself, what did Jai Ram Thakur do in the disaster, he just kept getting photographs taken and doing drama. The stones were not even falling but still they were running, their only concern was about Kangana Ranaut.
Negi said that when Kangana Ranaut called him, he told her not to come, the roads are closed, we and our partner Sanjay Awasthi did not care about the challenges, they were worried about themselves and Kangana, so that she does not get blisters on her feet. Negi said that roads were built wrongly in Saraj, trees were cut wrongly and buried there, those trees were swept into the river in the disaster, which everyone saw.
What did CM Sukhu say on the action on ABVP?
On the police action taken against ABVP workers, CM Sukhu said in the House that ABVP demonstrated without permission and ABVP workers blocked the road illegally for 3 hours. Common people including MLAs had to face problems and barricades were broken. Also, 3 women policemen were misbehaved by ABVP workers. A female constable was also injured in her arm. The police did not resort to any lathi charge and only a scuffle took place and 5-6 policemen were injured. No ABVP worker has suffered serious injuries and no one is admitted to the hospital. ABVP was only allowed to march. BJP’s protest is on December 4, if such a situation arises then the government will think about Zorawar’s permission.
Earlier, the Leader of Opposition said in the House that the CM should not present one side. Why permission was not given, the situation is handled but lathicharge is not done, people who have been wronged will be found out about it. If the government is threatening for permission then BJP’s protest will continue.
