A training program was organized by the government for the Panchayat level leaders of Jharkhand. Its main objective was to give right direction to the development of villages. This training program was designed by the experts of IIT Dhanbad on subjects like agriculture, health, education etc.
Dhanbad. Leadership and Management Development Training Program for elected representatives and officials organized by DOPR (Department of Personnel and Administrative Reforms), Government of Jharkhand was organized at IIT Dhanbad. This training will continue till 28th November.
Panchayat representatives received training
Heads, block heads and sarpanches from every block of Jharkhand have been included in this program. The objective of the training is to enable the public representatives for the all-round development of their village and block. The participants are being given information related to agriculture, education, rural development, leadership skills and management techniques by the professors and expert team of IIT ISM.

Kriti Kumari, block head of Sariya of Giridih district, said that a total of 23 men and women, including heads of Giridih, Hazaribagh, Dhanbad and Bokaro, have participated in the first phase of training. The main objective of this training is to know how to develop your block and village. People should be made aware by making a project. In this, training is mainly being given about agriculture, health, education and industry.

He told that in this training, how to promote agriculture in the digital age and how to sprinkle water or spray fertilizer, it was explained through drones. Understanding this, we will show it to the people for the development of our village and block. Even in this digital age, the villagers can do farming in a better way and grow good crops.
New direction for development of villages
He told that this program has been started by the Centre. The objective of this program is that the block chief Sarpanch should give a new direction in the development of his village and make people aware. About 30 public representatives, both men and women, have been included in each batch. Till now, hundreds of chiefs, sarpanches and block heads have participated in this training.
Efforts continue for better leadership
It has been told that in the coming days, about 30 to 90 public representatives will be given training every day. In the second phase, different block heads and sarpanches of Jharkhand will be called. The people of the village will be made aware through this training. This program has been specially selected and assigned to IIT (ISM) by the Central Government. Its objective is to provide leadership empowerment training to the public representatives of Jharkhand from a scientific and modern perspective.
