Talking about exports, Hero exported a total of 22,032 vehicles in December 2020. Whereas, in December 2019, the company had a total of 12,836 units. The company exported 71.64 percent more in December 2020 as compared to December 2019.
Bike so sold in december
Hero sold a total of 4,15,099 motorcycles in the Indian market in December 2020. If compared to December 2019, the company had sold a total of 4,03,625 units this month. The scooter market was also green
In December 2020, Hero sold a total of 32,236 scooters in the Indian market. Whereas, in December 2019, the company had sold a total of 21,220 units. During this period, the sales of Hero scooters registered a 51.91 percent increase.
Prices will increase from new year
The company has recently announced an increase in prices of its vehicles by Rs 1,500 from January 1, 2021. Although how much the price of which model will increase, it has not been disclosed yet. The company has said that it is taking this step due to rising production costs. Hero MotoCorp said in a statement on Wednesday that prices of various commodities such as steel, aluminum, plastics and other metals are continuously increasing.

In a statement, the company said, “To partially reduce the impact of the rise in commodity prices, we are going to increase the prices of our products by Rs 1,500 from January 1, 2021. Dealers will be informed about the price increase in various models soon.
