New Delhi. Hero MotoCorp and Harley-Davidson have launched a new top-spec variant of their jointly developed X440 motorcycle. The name of this new variant is X440 T and its price has been kept at Rs 2.79 lakh (ex-showroom). This variant is positioned above the Vivid and S variants. Harley-Davidson Hero and Harley’s strategy is to maintain the old pricing and increase the appeal of the X440 by adding new technology, features, looks and excitement.

The X440 T does the same, with a revamped rear-end design that makes it look more attractive than ever. Especially at the rear, where the gap between the rear fender and the wheel is now more visible. The new tail section comes with new grab rails and new graphics with four attractive colors – Pearl White, Vivid Black, Pearl Red and Pearl Blue.

With new graphics, colors and rear-end design, the Harley-Davidson X440 T has now become a stronger option for buyers than ever before. With the launch of the X440 T, the base denim variant and its wire-spoke wheels have been discontinued, with alloy wheels now becoming standard. Another special feature of the X440 T is its bar-end mirrors.
ride-by-wire throttle
New Features: Another important thing is to attract customers who like technology. Keeping this in mind, for the first time the Harley-Davidson X440 T has been provided with ride-by-wire throttle and two riding modes (Road, Rain). Apart from this, the X440 T also gets switchable ABS and switchable traction control.
panic braking feature
Harley-Davidson has also added a panic braking feature to the X440 T, in which the turn indicators automatically flash during panic braking. Cycle parts have been kept the same as before. It includes USD front forks, rear twin shockers, 18-inch front and 17-inch rear alloy wheels, dual-channel ABS with single disc brake setup at both ends, etc.
440cc single-cylinder oil-cooled engine
It has the same 440cc single-cylinder oil-cooled engine, which generates peak power of 27 bhp and peak torque of 38 Nm, which is mated to a 6-speed gearbox. With new features, its weight has increased by 1.5 kg to 192 kg and features like TFT instrument cluster, LED lighting have also been retained.
