Heart touching initiative of the youth, where the cold was biting, the needy got the support of blankets.

Suhani Sardi Abhiyan: The middle-aged youth of Korba have turned their attention towards the needy in the cold state of Chhattisgarh in the winter season with warm and chilling emotions. Korba youth Golu, Shiv, Prateek and Shivam Dubey have distributed blankets to the destitute and poor of the city through the Suhani Sardi campaign running under Chhattisgarh Help Welfare Society. Public cooperation is also playing an important role in this campaign.

Chhattisgarh Health Welfare Society President Rana Mukherjee said that Suhani Sardi campaign is started every year from the beginning of winter season. This time, it reached villages with great enthusiasm, apart from the city. Destitute people, children and the elderly are being protected from the cold with warm blankets and medical gifts. Rana said that in this campaign, the needy are being assured that they will remain safe from the cold.

More than 300 blankets distributed
According to Shivam Dubey, in addition to Korba urban part, the campaign has reached the villages of rural areas, where many houses are also facing the cold of the season due to lack of blankets. Acknowledging the huge support of the public, Dubey said that this campaign is being run with determination. Shiv Prateek said that the activities will be made more extensive in the coming year. More than 300 blankets have been distributed under the campaign and it is continuing. This initiative is mobilizing people trapped in the scorpion of cold and disregard, even from their own homes, with deep commitment. According to local citizens, this campaign has served as a great example of crossing the divides of winter and society, reminding us that just a helping hand has the power to heal the wounded identity of a society.
