In the petition filed in the High Court on Monday, Juhi Chawla has demanded that before the implementation of 5G mobile network, all kinds of studies related to it should be carefully considered, only after which it should be considered for implementation in India. The matter came up for hearing before Justice C Harishankar, who transferred it to another bench for hearing on June 2.
Chawla said that if the plans of the telecom industry are fulfilled then no person, no animal, no bird, no insect and no plant on the earth will be able to escape from its effects. He said that with these 5G plans there is a serious, irreversible effect on humans and there is a danger of permanent damage to all the Earth’s ecosystems.
The petition, filed through advocate Deepak Khosla, has sought a direction to the authorities to clarify that 5G technology is safe for mankind, male, female, adult, child, infant, animal and all kinds of fauna, flora .
