HDFC Bank presented the third quarter figures.
HDFC Bank’s total revenue to the bank in Q3 of FY2021 was Rs 23,760.8 crore. At the same time, the total balance sheet of the bank increased to Rs 16,54,338 crore. The amount deposited in the bank increased by 19.1% and it stood at Rs 12,71,124 crore in the December quarter.
Current and savings account ratio increased – HDFC Bank reported that the bank received total revenue of Rs 23,760.8 crore in Q3 of FY2021. At the same time, the total balance sheet of the bank increased to Rs 16,54,338 crore. The amount deposited in the bank increased by 19.1% and it stood at Rs 12,71,124 crore in the December quarter. At the same time, the Bank’s Current and Savings Account Ratio (CASA Ratio) stood at 43%, which was 41.6% in the September quarter and only 39.5% in the December quarter last year. The liquidity coverage ratio of the bank stood at 146%. This is the first quarter result of HDFC Bank led by the new CEO of the bank, Shashidhar Jagadishan.

The bank received Rs 4,974.9 crore from fees and commissions, foreign exchange and derivatives revenue of Rs 562.2 crore, sales or investments of investments worth Rs 1,109 crore and miscellaneous income of Rs 797.1 crore. HDFC Bank’s loan book has also increased by 16% to Rs 10.8 lakh crore. Domestic retail loans grew by 5.2%. Whereas wholesale loans increased by 25.5%. The asset quality of the bank has also improved and the NPA has decreased by 27 basic points. The bank’s NPA decreased by 0.09% in the December quarter, while it declined by 0.17% in the September quarter.
