In such a situation, today in this article we will tell you the recipe of making bottle gourd dal by giving a twist of bottle gourd in it. You can prepare it easily in less time. If you try making this dal once, you will not even need to prepare vegetables.
To make bottle gourd dal, you will have to bring pigeon pea – 1 cup, bottle gourd (peeled and chopped) – 2 cups, water – as per requirement, turmeric – half teaspoon, salt – as per taste, green chillies (chopped) – 1-2, tomato (chopped) – 1. By adopting this recipe, you can make bottle gourd dal which is very tasty to eat.

If you have brought the ingredients to make bottle gourd dal, then first of all you will have to wash the dal and put it in the cooker. Then add chopped bottle gourd pieces, turmeric, salt, tomato and green chilli to it. Now add 2-3 cups of water and cook the cooker for 3-4 whistles. After this, when the cooker cools down, mash the lentils lightly.
After making the dal, now you have to add tadka to the dal. To prepare tadka, heat oil in a pan, then add cumin, asafoetida, dry red chilli and garlic and fry till it turns golden. After this add red chili powder. Now add the prepared tadka to the dal and boil it on low flame for 3 to four minutes. For test, sprinkle green coriander on it and leave it covered for 1 minute, after which your dal will be ready.
