Haryana Weather Update: According to the Meteorological Department, there will be dense fog and mist in Haryana on December 19, pollution can be severe. It will be cloudy on 20-21 December. Cold wave, sharp drop in temperature and light rain are possible from December 22.
Haryana Weather Update: It is extremely cold in Haryana at this time. Besides, the weather is changing rapidly and the coldness of the winds has also increased. According to the Meteorological Department, the temperature is falling rapidly in Haryana. Even a blanket of fog is clearly visible in many districts. Yesterday i.e. on 18th December, the lowest temperature recorded in Hisar and Narnaul districts of Haryana was 5.4 degrees Celsius, while in the afternoon the maximum temperature was recorded at 25.8 degrees Celsius in Sirsa district. This morning’s temperature in Haryana is 13°C.
Dr. Madan Lal Khichad, Chairman of the Agricultural Meteorological Department of Chaudhary Charan Singh Haryana Agricultural University, Hisar, said that the weather in Haryana will remain dry and changeable till December 20. At the same time, due to north and north-west cold winds blowing at light to moderate speed, there may be a drop in the night temperature, but there will be a slight increase in the day temperature. The Meteorological Department estimates that by December 20, a new western disturbance will affect, which may cause cloudy sky at times. Due to this the day temperature may go down further. At the same time, the night temperature may go up slightly. Meteorologists have advised farmers and common people to be careful according to the weather. Because mild cold has started and in such a situation the risk of cold also increases and wear warm clothes in the morning and evening. Now real winters have arrived in Haryana, so be prepared.
According to IMD, from December 22, cold wave, light rain with cloud cover and a rapid drop in temperature will be recorded in Haryana, which will increase the chill. On the other hand, on 19th December i.e. this morning, dense fog and mist are being seen and the minimum temperature is being seen low. While there will be light-moderate fog during the day, the Meteorological Department has warned regarding air quality that pollution can reach severe levels due to dense fog and smog. There is a possibility of cloudy days in Haryana from 20-21 December. The impact of which can be seen in many areas including Gurugram, Faridabad and Sonipat. After this, the weather will change rapidly from December 22. On this day, cold wave, cloud cover and drop in temperature will be recorded. There may be a slight increase in temperature on 23rd December. But there will be a possibility of cloud cover and light rain.
AQI level has become very bad
Along with the change in weather in Haryana, the AQI level also seems to be continuously worsening. While the AQI level in the country’s capital Delhi is very bad, many districts of Haryana also appear to be surrounded by extreme pollution. According to aqi.in, AQI level of 684 is visible in Faridabad district of Haryana, while AQI level of around 346 is visible in Delhi. Whereas in Gurugram district of Haryana, AQI level is 341, while in Ambala district, AQI level is 298 in the morning.
