Haryana’s air is not improving, AQI reaches danger mark in these cities, be careful, take these precautions

Faridabad: Today the level of air quality remains worrying in many districts of Haryana. According to the reports of the Meteorological Department and various air quality monitoring agencies, the air quality in the cities of the state has reached dangerous limits. This is a time to be cautious for those who breathe, especially children, the elderly and those who have breathing problems. Today the air quality index (AQI) in Sonipat is around 300, which directly falls in the poor to very poor category. Whereas AQI 214 has been recorded in Jind and 206 in Charkhi Dadri, which shows poor level. The air quality in Ambala was 189, which does not pose a serious health risk to the general public, but can cause problems for sensitive people.

Talking about Faridabad, the situation here is even more serious. Different AQI conditions have been recorded in different parts of the city. AQI 358 has been recorded in Sector 16A, which falls in the dangerous category. The average AQI of entire Faridabad is said to be 347, which indicates that the air condition in the city is very bad. Today’s AQI 167 has been recorded in Ballabhgarh, which is not very bad but can still affect health.

The air quality in Gurugram is even more worrying. AQI has reached 392 in Sector 49 of the city, which is an indication of dangerous level. The situation in Sector 65 is even more frightening. The AQI recorded here is 485, which falls in the extremely dangerous category. The average AQI of the entire city is around 430, which gives a serious warning in terms of health. At such times, it is important for people to wear masks while going out, limit physical activities and stay indoors to avoid exposure to air pollution. Children and the elderly need special attention. Also, using air purifier inside the house and taking care of plants can also prove helpful.
