FaridabadThe air of Faridabad and Gurugram of Haryana has once again become capable of affecting people’s health, Since morning, a layer of fog was visible in many areas of the city and slight difficulty in breathing was also felt, The weather is clear and the sun is out, but the air quality is so bad that people are thinking a little while going out,
The average AQI recorded in Faridabad on Monday was between 170 to 220. This range falls in the moderate to poor category. In areas like Sector 30, Station 2, this level sometimes went down and sometimes suddenly reached 250–280. The effect of such bad air is especially severe on those people who already have breathing, allergy or heart problems. The situation in Ballabhgarh is a little worse than Faridabad. Here AQI was recorded from 190 to above 230 at many places. In NIT region this figure reached 230+ which falls in the very bad level. Most of the PM2.5 and PM10 particles were found in the air which cause harm by going directly into the lungs. People were seen avoiding morning walks or even working out in the open because the air felt heavy and dusty.
Even the air of Gurugram is not giving relief. The average AQI of the city remains between 200 to 250+. In areas like DLF Phase-1, Sector 56 and Vikas Sadan, AQI was recorded around 230–246. Using plants and air purifiers in homes can also help. Overall, whether it is Faridabad, Ballabhgarh or Gurugram, the air of all three places remains a problem for the people today.
