jindCIA staff Narwana has achieved great success in Jind district of Haryana, Anoop Vasi Belrakha, the accused who demanded ransom of Rs 50 lakh from Jain Garments Narwana and opened fire, was arrested by the police after an encounter within just 2 days,
Actually, during the action taken in Data Singh Wala area under the leadership of CIA in-charge Sukhdev Singh, the accused opened fire on the police team. In retaliation, the accused was shot in both his legs, in which one leg is said to be fractured. During the encounter, a direct bullet hit the bulletproof jacket of CIA in-charge Sukhdev Singh, due to which he narrowly escaped.
Police have recovered two illegal pistols and a large quantity of cartridges from the accused. The injured accused has been admitted to Civil Hospital Narwana for treatment.
A ransom of Rs 50 lakh was demanded after firing at a garments shop in Narwana town. Accused Anoop of Belarkhan village was shot in both legs by the police in the encounter. Narwana CIA team had received information that Anup Data Singh was in Wala village. The CIA team immediately started searching for Anoop on the basis of this information and found Anoop. As soon as the police asked Anoop to surrender, Anoop opened fire on the police. In this incident, Narwana CIA incharge Sukhdev Singh narrowly escaped. Sukhdev Singh was wearing a bullet proof jacket at the time of the incident. The bullet lodged in his jacket.
Anoop was riding a bike when the encounter took place. Police arrested Anoop and admitted him to Narwana Civil Hospital where doctors are treating him. Jind Police Captain Kuldeep Singh has confirmed this incident. He said that no miscreant will be allowed to commit criminal activities in the district.

On Sunday, Anup had fired at Jain Garments near Apollo Chowk on the busiest railway road of Narwana and left with a ransom slip of Rs 50 lakh. There was chaos in the market after this incident. The police had visited the spot. Haryana Cabinet Minister Krishna Bedi also reached the spot. Later, Congress MLA Aditya Surjewala also visited the spot. Anoop had given three days time for ransom in the letter and on the third day he was seriously injured in the encounter.
