According to the information, this incident of murder took place on the morning of 24th November at Joval Health Club located at Linepar. Karmjeet Dalal of Jakhoda village was a financier and property dealer by profession.
Actually, Sunil, the operator of Joval Gym, is also from Jakhoda village. Karmjeet was friends with him, so he used to come to Sunil’s gym every day to work out so far from the village. As usual, he came on the morning of 24th November, but did not return. After this, when someone went to the gym, Karmjeet was found dead, soaked in blood. After receiving the information, the police reached the spot and started investigation. On the statement of family members, a case of murder was registered against gym operator Sunil. The accused was absconding since then. In search of him, the police was raiding many areas including Bahadurgarh, Delhi, Gurugram and Chandigarh, but he was not being caught. Finally, on Thursday, a joint team of CIA-2 and Linepar Police took control of the Linepar area.
In a press conference held at the CIA-2 complex, ACP Crime Pradeep Nain said that the concrete reasons for the murder would be known only after the interrogation of the accused is completed. At present, issues like non-payment of fees, taunting and mutual rivalry have come to light. The incident was carried out in a planned manner. The accused had switched off the cameras on the night of 23rd November itself. The next day he was discharged from the gym. When Karmjeet came to the gym, he was beaten to death with a hammer and an iron plate.
The accused has been taken on remand for two days. During this time period, the real reasons will be found out and the material used in the crime will be recovered. It will also be inquired whether anyone else is involved in the matter or not.
