Haryana Assembly Live: An important proposal was brought in the Assembly on Monday regarding getting SIR (Special Intensive Revision) done in the state and electoral reforms. The government presented this proposal in the House to discuss the issue of election reforms. This proposal came in the Assembly in the afternoon, on which provision was made for discussion under Rule 84.
This proposal was presented by Chief Whip Ramkumar Kashyap and Yogendra Rana in the Assembly on behalf of BJP. The government intended that there should be a detailed discussion in the House on the problems related to improvement in electoral processes, transparency and voter list. As soon as the proposal came, the atmosphere in the House became heated.
Opposition from Congress MLAs
As soon as the proposal related to electoral reforms was placed in the House, Congress MLAs started strongly opposing it. Congress MLAs said that the proposal related to electoral reforms cannot be brought in the Assembly. Along with this, Congress also avoided discussing serious issues like vote theft in the House.
Parliamentary Affairs Minister’s sharp attack on Congress
On this issue, Parliamentary Affairs Minister Mahipal Dhanda made a scathing attack on Congress. He said that Congress leaders talk about vote theft in rallies outside and in front of the media, give statements and make serious allegations. When two hours were fixed for discussion on this topic inside the House, the Congress MLAs left the House and ran away. Dhanda said that it becomes clear that Congress is spreading lies outside and its leaders are also lying. He alleged that Congress is running away from discussing serious issues in the House.
Minister Vipul Goyal accused of abusing
After this, Congress MLAs returned to the House raising slogans. Congress MLAs alleged that Minister Vipul Goyal had abused in the House. On this, Minister Vipul Goyal clarified that he has not abused anyone and the Congress MLAs are lying in the House. However, Vipul Goyal also said that if anyone got hurt by his words or felt something was wrong, then he expresses regret for it.

Despite this, the Congress MLAs were not satisfied and once again walked out of the House raising slogans. During the entire incident, there was a huge uproar in the Assembly and the proceedings of the House were repeatedly disrupted. Amidst the discussion on important issues like electoral reforms and SIR, political allegations and counter-allegations heated up the atmosphere of the House. After this the Congress MLAs walked out of the House in protest.
