Chhapra. The story of Imam Ali of Chapra is quite interesting. Due to financial constraints, Imam Ali could study only till non-matriculation. After this, seeing the poor financial condition of the house, he went to other states to earn. During this time, he roamed around in cities like Delhi, Punjab, Haryana and Kolkata and worked in various factories for many years. But it was difficult to run the household even with this income. There were more people in the house and fewer earners, due to which Imam Ali was facing a lot of problems.
Meanwhile, he got a job in a factory where flour mill, flour kneading machine, spice grinding machine, machines for making burgers, pizza and chow mein were manufactured. Working for about 12 years, Imam Ali learned the complete art of making all these machines.
Started work by taking loan
After this, when he returned home, he thought of setting up a factory to manufacture these machines at his home itself. But when his financial condition was not good, his morale started breaking. Then someone advised him to take a loan from the PMEGP scheme. He prepared his setup by taking a loan of about Rs 12 lakh. Now they make many types of machines in Chapra itself and are earning good profits by supplying them all over the country. Imam Ali is a resident of Bibipur village under Garkha block of Saran district and is achieving success by running his industry in this village.
Providing employment to many people
While talking to Local 18, Imam Ali said that by installing the machines manufactured by him, people can earn good income and can also provide employment to others. He told that he is employing more than 10 people to operate his setup. Chow mein making machine, burger making machine, dough kneading machine, biscuit making machine, flour mill machine and many other machines are manufactured here, which are sold all over the country. People can become industrialists by installing these machines.
Imam Ali says that he wants to expand this business on a larger scale so that he can provide employment to more and more people, and for this he is working hard day and night.
