After this, Guru Dutt did not stop. Made great films like ‘Mr and Mrs 55’, ‘Pyaasa’, ‘Kaagaz Ke Phool’, ‘Chaudhvin Ka Chand’. After the success of ‘Saheb Bibi Aur Ghulam’, Guru Dutt created history. At the time of the film ‘Baji’, Guru Dutt’s eyes collided with Geeta Dutt, where Guru was new, while Geeta was on the heights of fame. The two fell in love and got married. Guru Dutt and Geeta Dutt had three children, but due to the conflict of ego between the two, the love gradually started decreasing. During the film ‘Pyaasa’, Guru Dutt started getting attracted towards Waheeda Rehman. The uneasiness to always try and achieve something new took him away from Geeta and closer to Waheeda.

Relations with Geeta Dutt were not good but Waheeda knew that Guru is married, so never took the relationship forward and kept distance from Guru.
