Ingredients for making Gulab Jamuns
Instant Gulab Jamun Mix Powder – 1 Packet
Maida (refined floor) – 20 to 30 grams (2-3 tablespoons)
Sugar – 600 grams (3 cups)
Ghee – Gulab Jamun for frying
Gulab Jamun Recipe
Stir the Instant Gulab Jamun Mix Powder in a wide and large pot until it becomes soft, smooth dough.
To make sugar syrup, put 300 grams of water (water will be half of the amount of sugar) in sugar in a large pan. Stir it occasionally until the sugar syrup comes to a boil.
Stir the sugar syrup with a glass and see if the sugar has completely dissolved, then cook it for 3 minutes. Your sugar syrup is ready.
Now take a mixture of gulab jamun, keep it between the two palms and give it a round shape and keep it on a plate.
After this, put ghee in the pan and put it on the gas. When the ghee gets hot, add gulab jamun tablets to it. You can fry 4 to 5 tablets simultaneously. It is frying inverted on both sides until golden brown.
When the tablet fills, then take it out in a plate and let it cool. After this, dip these tablets in sugar syrup. Similarly, make all the round mawa gulab jamuns, fry them and add them to the syrup. Leave it immersed in sugar syrup. After about an hour, take it out and keep it in the fridge.
