How to grow garlic in pot
– To grow garlic, you need a deep pot of the right size. It should be about 6 inches deep and have a small hole in the bottom so that water can drain out.
-If you want to grow garlic indoor, you can grow it throughout the year. Separate the garlic cloves. Do not peel. Throw away spoiled garlic.
– Put good quality soil in a pot or container. To grow garlic, there should be a small hole in the bottom of the pot so that proper water drainage can occur. After adding soil, leave a space of two to three inches from the top. Due to lack of proper drainage, there is a greater possibility of the roots rotting.
-Press the garlic cloves in the soil. Press everything into the gap. Keep the bottom part as above. To produce bulbs, plant all buds 6 inches apart. Now add water.
– Garlic plant needs proper light. Even if indirect light is applied continuously on the plant for 6 hours, it is enough. It would be best to keep the balcony or kitchen area of the house in sunlight.
-Avoid watering every day otherwise the bulb will die before sprouts and roots emerge. Touch it with your fingers to see if the soil is wet. If it is wet, water it only when the soil dries.
-To keep the bulb growing, keep adding balanced liquid fertilizer, but only twice a month. If you feel that the garlic bulb is not sprouting, then you must consult a plant and gardening expert.
