Meerut News: Rural women of Meerut can now take training in Hunar Art course for free. Canara Rural Self-Employment Training Institute will provide training to women. This includes training related to fashion designing, traditional dress, cushion covers, bags and other skills.
Meerut: There is good news for women living in rural areas. For those women who want to study in skill related courses, Canara Rural Self-Employment Training Institute is organizing free training in January 2026. To join this course, you can register till 15th December. This information was given by the director of the institute, Vivek Surkashan, while talking to the team of Local 18.
Vivek Surkashan told that the fashion designing course currently running in Hunar Art course has been updated. In this, along with normal dress, women will be given free training in traditional dress, fancy bedsheet, cushion cover, bags and other trending products. This training will be for 30 days and through this women can shape their future in this field. After completing the training, NCVT certificate will also be distributed to all the women.

All procedures will be free
Canara RSETI Senior Course Coordinator Ramesh Chandra Joshi said that all the procedures will be free during the training. In this, everything from dress material to breakfast and food arrangements will also be provided by the institute. At the time of registration, women will have to submit five passport size photographs, educational documents and photocopies of other documents including Aadhar card. For registration, the institute can be contacted from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm.
You will get certificate after training
The institute will also help the women who take training in this course to adopt self-employment under various schemes run by the government. Apart from this, various courses are also organized in the institute from time to time. Women can also get information about future courses and training by contacting the institute.
