Gaurav Singh/Bhojpur: The state level Under-17 cricket tournament organized by the School Games Federation in Arrah, Bihar has got off to a great start. Teams from 9 divisions of Bihar, Patna, Tirhut, Saran, Darbhanga, Kosi, Purnia, Bhagalpur, Munger and Magadh are participating in this competition. In this tournament, each team will play only one match and the players who perform better in all the matches will be selected for the Under-17 team of Bihar. Arrangements for accommodation and food for all the teams have also been made by the district administration at the Khel Bhawan. Many government physical teachers have been officially appointed to organize the tournament.

The objective of this entire tournament is to prepare the Under-17 cricket team of Bihar. The selectors are closely monitoring the batting, bowling, fitness and fielding of the players in every match. Young players from every division are trying to attract the attention of the selectors with their excellent performance.

The district administration has appointed many officials to conduct the tournament in a better manner. At the Veer Kunwar Singh Stadium, officials from every department including ground arrangements, security, health facilities, ambulance service, spectator care and match management are handling their responsibilities so that the tournament can be conducted smoothly. Due to the activeness of the administrative team, a safe and positive environment has been provided to both the players and spectators.
Referee sent from Bihar Cricket Association
To maintain transparency and professional quality of match conduct, referees and match officials have been sent by Bihar Cricket Association (BCA). His presence is ensuring that technical standards are followed in the tournament. All the processes from umpiring to scoring are being done under the guidelines of BCA.
