This scheme will be started in 600 districts of all states of the country. Skill India Mission (PMKVY) 3.0 is planned to provide training to eight lakh candidates during the plan period 2020-2021, with an expenditure of Rs 948.90 crore. To create a strong pool of skilled professionals, 729 Pradhan Mantri Kaushal Kendras (PMKKs), non-PMKK training centers included in the list under Skill India and more than 200 ITIs will start training. On the basis of training received from PMKVY 1.0 and PMKVY 2.0, the Ministry has reformed the existing policy principle. This time it has been made even better to replenish energy in the skill ecosystem affected by the Kovid-19 epidemic.
