Bastar Naxal Surrender News: In the last 50 days, 553 Naxalites have surrendered before the police in Bastar. These include many big commanders and rewarded Naxalites. Naxalites are laying down their arms due to the continuous operations of the security forces and the surrender policy of the government.

Bastar Naxal Surrender News: The Naxalite organization has suffered a major setback in the forests of Bastar in the last 50 days. 553 Naxalites have surrendered before the police leaving their guns. Due to the continuous pressure of Army, Police and CRPF and good contact campaign of surrender policy, Naxalites are now laying down their arms. In the last two days alone, 69 rewarded Naxalites have surrendered. There was a total reward of Rs 2 crore 8 lakh on him. These include many big commanders and platoon level Naxalites.
Police officials say that the Naxalite organization is now rapidly weakening. Their communication system is completely broken. Ration and water has stopped reaching the villages. Food, medicine and other essential things are not available in the forest. On top of that, due to continuous operations by security forces, Naxalites now live in fear. That is why they now want to leave the path of violence and live a normal life with their family.
The surrender policy of the government is also proving to be very effective. Naxalites who surrender are being immediately given Rs 10,000 in cash, accommodation, security to hide their identity and later rehabilitation package. Many young Naxalites said that they now want to send their children to school and live a peaceful life by doing farming and labor in the village. Bastar Range IG Sunderraj P. said, “This is not just a number, it is a sign of the breaking of the back of the Naxalite organization. In the coming days, more big Naxalites will surrender. Our aim is to make Bastar completely Naxalite-free.” This is a huge success towards lasting peace.”
There is a wave of happiness among the people also. The villagers are saying that now they will be able to sleep peacefully at night also. Children will be able to go to school without fear. Now there is real hope of return of peace in Bastar.
