Government launched the third phase of Pradhan Mantri Kaushal Vikas Yojana, 8 lakh youth will get training, learn registration process

new Delhi. The third phase of Pradhan Mantri Kaushal Vikas Yojana (Pradhan Mantri Kuashal Vikas Yojana 3.0) has been launched on Friday. Under this, employment oriented skills will be provided to the youth of the country. More than 300 courses will be made available to the youth under this scheme. During the period 2020-21 of PMKVY 3.0 scheme, 8 lakh people will be trained. The objective of the third phase of this scheme is to strengthen and empower the District Skill Committees as well as to promote demand based skill development initiatives.

948.90 crores will be spent
948.90 crore will be spent on this. The ministry said in a statement that a new initiative has been started by adding district skills committees to PMKVY 3.0. PMKVY 3.0 will provide vocational training to the youth at the initial level, so that they will be able to take advantage of industry related opportunities.

Launched in 717 districtsPMKVY is a pioneering scheme in terms of one country, one plan. The Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship said in a statement that PMKVY 3.0 has been started in 717 districts of 28 states and eight union territories. This is another step towards a ‘self-reliant India’. The statement said that the scheme will be implemented in a more decentralized manner and states / union territories and districts will have more responsibility in it.

Will get these benefits
Under this scheme, each certified candidate will also be given a three-year contingency insurance (skill insurance) of Rs 2 lakh. Under this scheme, all the candidates will also get certification from National Institute of Vocational Education and Training (NCVET) under Kushal Bharat Mission. The ministry said that this scheme will prove to be a milestone in imparting skill training to the youth as per Industry 4.0 and empowering them at the district level.
