While launching this service in December last year, Telco said that Vo-WiFi allows its customers to make calls using any WiFi network, and Vo-WiFi also allows users to make calls without a mobile network or Weeks mobile network. The first report has been received through Telecom Talk that the telco has full potential to extend the WiFi service in even more circles in India. However, no official communication notice has come from Vi yet.

Recently, while supporting the advanced feature, BSNL has also told about the facility of Internet calling through its Wings App. Although BSNL is not able to provide the best facilities similar to VoWiFi, it is expected that it will also be able to provide the same service as VoWiFi soon.
