Transport Minister of Delhi Government Kailash Gehlot said that the Delhi Government has approved more than 100 models of electric vehicles. So far 36 manufacturers have registered themselves under the Electric Vehicle Policy. 98 dealers have been added to the entire network.

There are 14 two-wheelers, 45 models of e-rickshaws and 12 models of four-wheelers among the 100 models approved by the Delhi government. The entire process is made online and very simple. To claim the subsidy, you only have to provide three things. First, a copy of sales invoice, second Aadhaar card and third a cancellation check.
Models of these 100 vehicles will be charged
– 14 electric two wheelers (Hero Electric, Okinawa, Ampere, Jitendra New EV Tech and Li-Ion Electric).
– 12 electric four wheel vehicles (Tata-Mahindra).
– Four electric autos (2 Mahindra, 1 Piago and 1 Sarathi).
– 45 models of e-rickshaws.
– 17 e-cart models.

This website will also benefit with subsidies
The Delhi government has prepared a website to give the benefit of both types of subsidy. This website is called ev.delhi.gov.in. The person who scraped the vehicle and bought a new EV vehicle can take advantage of the facilities provided by the government from this website. Not only this, along with subsidy, the government is also waiving road tax and registration fees on new EVs. But this rebate will be available only on vehicles priced below 15 lakh rupees.
