Sales of car companies increased in the month of December.
Looking at the data released by the car companies, the country’s largest carmaker Maruti Suzuki India (Maruti) has registered a growth of 20.2 percent in sales. At the same time, the sale of Tata Motors has increased by 21 percent.
Maruti, Tata, Toyota and MG Motors sold such units in December- According to auto sales data, in the month of December, Maruti Suzuki India has sold a total of 1 lakh 60 thousand 226 units. At the same time, the company official said that in December 2019, the company had sold 1 lakh 33 thousand 296 cars. With this, Tata Motors sold 53,430 vehicles in December 2020. Which is 21 percent more than the sales figures of 44,254 vehicles in December 2019.

According to Toyota Kirloskar Motor, the company’s domestic sales grew 14 per cent to 7,487 units in December 2020. It was 6,544 in the same period last year. According to MG Motor India, its sales grew 33 per cent to 4,010 units in December 2020 from 3,021 units in the year-ago period. Good growth in compact car sales According to a statement issued by the company, in December 2020, sales of small cars like Alto and S-Preso increased by 4.4 percent to 24,927. This figure was 23,883 in the same period last year. Similarly, sales of compact vehicles like Swift, Celerio, Ignis, Baleno and Dzire increased by 18.2 percent to 77,641. However, sales of mid-size sedan Ciaz declined by 28.9 per cent to 1,270 units in December 2020. At the same time, the sales of utility T vehicles like Vitara Brezza, Escross and Ertiga jumped 8 per cent to 25,701 from 23,808 in December 2019.
