Gold Price This Week: During the wedding season, the prices of both gold and silver continued to fluctuate this week. The rates of India Bullion and Jewelers Association (IBJA) show that there was a slight rise in gold prices this week, while there was a big fall in the prices of silver. In five days of trading, gold became cheaper by Rs 222 per 10 grams. Silver remained under pressure throughout the week and fell by Rs 3,804. The gold market was like a roller coaster during the week. There was a slight softening in the prices in the beginning of the week, after which a sharp increase was seen one day. The next day again gold came down weakly and closed with slight strength on the last day of the week. Overall, gold prices remained within a fixed range. Silver remained much weaker than gold this week. After a slight decline in the beginning, it picked up one day, but after that the pressure kept increasing. By the end of the week, a huge fall in silver prices was recorded.
